I normally do but just wasn't in the right frame of mind. I know exactly in my yard where the problem is. The water line is only about 12 inches underground in one spot in my yard so I just light some charcoal over that spot and it about 15 minutes it is cleared up.

I was afraid my outside spigot would freeze. I knew it was uncovered, but by the time I remembered that I needed to cover it last night, I was half asleep and didn't want to get out in the cold.
I'm surprised I don't have frozen water lines every time the temp gets below 20. Been living in this house for 10 years and still haven't gotten around to fixing a couple of holes in the foundation.

Thanks for throwing that jinx in, I now look like I have a geyser shooting from my side yard. It is old galvanized pipes that were installed back in the early 50's so looks like my entire line will be replaced from the meter. Merry Christmas to me.
